In Pennsylvania, now anyone can vote by mail. If you previously qualified for an absentee ballot, that has not changed. However, a new law allows any voter in Pennsylvania to submit their vote by mail without a reason. Deadline to register to vote: May 5, 2025

Deadline to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot: TBD

Deadline to return a mail-in or absentee ballot: May 20, 2025

The voter registration deadline is 15 days before an election. You can register or update your registration at votespa.gov. Once your online voter registration application is approved, the county election office will mail a voter registration card to your residence.

If it is your first time voting at a precinct location, you will need to bring photo ID when you come to vote.
